The Boston Development project involves feasibility studies for a new residential tower in South Boston, MA. The goal is to study the application of the city of Boston’s planning initiative for the area.
The project will determine the feasibility of a residential tower on a small plot of land between Broadway Station and Andrew Square. With a 4,000 foot floor plate, RODE devised a design that utilizes the space strategically, building up, as opposed to out.
The design of the building includes a commercial ground level, 6 stories of residential space, and a seventh level amenity deck with gym and group social space. The development will be one of the first buildings in this new growth zone, and is anticipated to set the tone for the rest of the area’s expansion.
