Dorchester Master Planning

Permitted and master planned by RODE, Dot Block aims at being the biggest unitary development in Dorchester history covering four acres of land adjacent to Dorchester Avenue. The mixed-use development will act as a catalyst for a new destination neighborhood, transforming the now desolate area into more than 350 housing units and 40,000 sf of retail. The pedestrian-oriented public spaces will invigorate the heart of the site by fostering an active street life, with the introduction of cafes, restaurants, and other retail spaces. Beyond the boundaries of the project, RODE worked with city agencies and neighbors to envision future improvements spurred by the redevelopment of this area.
