RODE collaborated with MIT Educators in the design development of The John D O’Bryant Innovation Center in Roxbury, MA. The center features a flexible arena adaptable to various events, smart classrooms, and laboratories with state of the art amenities and a complete fabrication and assembly facility. The building is wrapped in an environment performance skin with direct views of the Boston skyline that responds to its solar exposure, reducing energy usage. This project concentrates on creating strong connections between the O’Bryant Innovation Center and its surrounding urban landscape.
