Yvonne's opened its doors in 2015, replacing the beloved Locke-Ober that had occupied the space since 1862. The co-owners sought to create a dining experience that would match its former occupant in reputation through its cuisine and interiors. RODE was hired as Architect-of-Record for the complete renovation of the 4,000 SF restaurant space. The result is a multi-faceted, 250-seat restaurant that feels more like a dining experience than simply a meal out. Yvonne's boasts three lavish spaces—the Lounge, the Gallery, and the Library—pays homage to the landmark restaurant by maintaining many of the original architectural features while injecting a sophisticated and eye-catching interior vibe that modernizes the space without sacrificing class.
