Architectural Designer Co-Op Fall 2025

At RODE, we believe in collaboration. We bring together creative leaders and inspired designers to work together to shape the places in which we live.  We share a passion to lead Boston’s neighborhoods into the future by combining exploratory design and contextual architectural solutions.  The firm is seeking a full-time Architectural Design Co-op to join the team in the design of institutional, commercial, residential, and multi-family buildings from design through construction.

Candidates must be working towards their Bachelor of Architecture degree or a Master of Architecture degree and preferably had at least one previous professional co-op/internship. Candidates should also have experience the following skill set:

  • Working knowledge of Revit and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience building physical models
  • Strong design, rendering, and graphic illustration skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills to effectively communicate ideas to the team
  • Embraces the challenge of juggling multiple tasks at a fast-paced firm
  • Be highly motivated, creative, curious, organized, and likes to ask questions
  • Ability to self-manage tasks and priorities to meet deadlines

  • Design experience in the firm’s project types
  • Ability to efficiently and effectively manage priorities on multiple projects either independently or as part of a team
  • Excellent written, verbal, listening, and presentation skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with your team, clients, and consultants
  • A commitment to sustainability, diversity, and inclusive design principles
  • Creative, critical, and innovative design skills and thinking
