RODE designed the new synagogue as two simple rectilinear volumes facing Washington Street. The larger, masonry-clad volume contains the sanctuary, social hall, and classrooms, while the smaller volume holds service elements. Wood-textured planar walls strategically puncture the masonry, providing light and views for the interior spaces.
