The Momentum Continues: Expanding our Passive House Expertise
We’re keeping the "lightning strikes" going! We are incredibly proud to announce that two more of our talented designers, Eric Figueredo and Cody Sanborn, have officially passed their Passive House (CPHC/CPHT) certification exams.
Adding Eric and Cody to our growing roster of certified professionals further strengthens RODE’s ability to deliver high-performance, climate-resilient architecture. As Boston and the industry at large move toward stricter energy standards, Eric and Cody’s expertise ensures that our designs remain at the forefront of sustainability without compromising the creative, community-focused spirit RODE is known for.

Meet Eric and Cody
Both Eric and Cody have been integral members of the RODE team, contributing to some of our most complex residential and mixed-use projects.
Eric Figueredo brings a keen eye for detail and a passion for technical excellence to the team. By earning his certification, Eric is bridging the gap between bold architectural concepts and the rigorous technical requirements of energy-efficient envelopes.
Cody Sanborn has consistently demonstrated a commitment to design that serves the end-user. His new credentials allow him to further advocate for the long-term health, comfort, and sustainability of the spaces he designs, ensuring they perform as beautifully as they look.
What This Means for RODE
Our values are centered on finding the design solution that is "right for the client, right for the space, and right for the community." By investing in Passive House expertise, we are delivering on that promise. High-performance building isn't just a technical requirement—it's a way to ensure the communities we build in are resilient for generations to come.
Passive House isn't just about reducing a carbon footprint; it’s about creating "well-crafted" spaces that are perfectly attuned to their environment. Whether we are working on multi-family housing, commercial spaces, or industrial projects, the integration of Passive House principles allows us to push the boundaries of what sustainable architecture can achieve.
Please join us in celebrating Eric and Cody with this fantastic achievement!
