Puritan & Company's Chef Will Gilson approached RODE to create three, distinct dining experiences under one roof for his newest endeavor, The Lexington. The result is a multi-faceted space with unique cuisine and atmosphere, tied together by area's rich historical past.

The Lexington includes a cafe, fine dining restaurant, and roof deck lounge. Each embraces the character of the city of Cambridge during a distinct era in its history. The ground level, Café Beatrice, nods to the elegance of 17th century imperial England with beautiful stone and brass elements. Coffee, tea, pastries, grab & go lunches, and late afternoon aperitifs can all be enjoyed in the bright, sun-filled cafe or on the outdoor ground level patio. Geppetto, the fine dining restaurant, exudes a scholarly sophistication of emergent Cambridge with detailed molding, rich colors, elevated built-in millwork, and large scale framed ceiling elements. The final concept takes advantage of the entirety of the second floor space. The rooftop lounge embraces the puritan simplicity of colonial Newtowne with simple finishes, floor-to-ceiling glass, and collapsible walls that seamlessly blend the indoors and outdoors.

RODE designed the space with a single kitchen on the first floor and a smaller finishing and plating area on the second floor, streamlining back of house operations for all three spaces. With Cafe Beatrice embracing early morning commuters with coffee and pastries, and the roof deck offering city views and after work apertifs, patrons can enjoy all that The Lexington has to offer from morning to night.
