Description

RODE Architects was selected to design Red Door Hospitality's new restaurant, Coppersmith, in South Boston steps away from the Broadway T station. The 10,500 sq. ft. space accommodates 370 seats and includes a dining room serving a globally-inspired menu from indoor food trucks, 75-seat bar, rooftop patio with seaport views, cafe, and more. The industrial aesthetic is inspired by the adaptive reuse of the old copper foundry, originally built in 1894. The interior finishes nod to the spaces original use, from the copper pendants to the restored wood communal tables and exposed brick walls.
