Description

The Passive Homes at Eagle Rock seek to be the first Certified Passive House neighborhood in Massachusetts, by PHIUS. These 20 homes are set on a 28-acre forested site, with a conservation forward approach to site planning, permaculture, nature trails, and other site features.

These 3,000 square foot, 4 bedroom homes are designed to be compact in order to touch the least amount of land as possible. they’re all optimally oriented within 15 degrees of south, with a roof light monitor to harness the sun's energy. The homes deploy the 5 principles of PH, featuring: High performance glazing, Increased insulation, reduced thermal bridging, energy recovering systems,  extreme air tightness. The houses will also feature increased indoor air quality, consistent temperature, solar panels, and large windows with views to the New England landscape.
