Description

RODE was asked to give an existing restaurant space an interior facelift to transform it The Salty Pig, a dining experience that features neapolitan-inspired stone-grilled pizza, handmade pasta and an emphasis on charcuterie. To capture this unique culinary menu, our design concept of “the modern salumerian” was developed.

Deep blacks and reds enhance the strong geometric patterns and graffiti-esque wall coverings, giving the space a modern, edgy, and energizing atmosphere.
An open kitchen with custom-designed stone pizza oven anchors the space and allows customers to see the pie-making process while they dine.‍
A custom-designed mural adorns the back wall, its swirling pasta strands delicately juxtaposing the edgy, geometric forms of its unique design.
